Well…the Best Player in the World actually. Which means he thinks he’s better than Kobe and obviously better than Lebron too.
We’re re-blogging J.E. Skeets of Yahoo’s “Ball Don’t Lie”, who blogged this quote from Pierce:
“I don’t think Kobe is the best player. I’m the best player. There’s a line that separates having confidence and being conceited. I don’t cross that line but I have a lot of confidence in myself.”
I don’t know, that sounds a bit conceited to me Paul. Shouldn’t you let others decide that you are the Best Player in the World?
According to Skeets, Pierce made this very modest and un-conceited : ) statement to a “reporter” at a basketball camp in Madrid, Spain.
Must be hot there or something.

A vote for Paul Pierce already? Did he vote for himself?
Everyone knows Adam Morrison is the best player in the world without a doubt. Why is this even being debated when the answer is so obvious?
Morrison is the best (bench warmer) in the world.
