BP’s Movember today returns to the glory years of one of basketball’s best: Charles Barkley.
Sir Charles starred for the 76ers, the Suns, and the US National “Dream Team” that captured Olympic gold in 1992. Throughout, he was known for his strength on the court, his shooting and rebounding, and for speakin’ his mind whenever about whatever.
He didn’t always sport the pencil-thin moustache shown above, though – or the dental-whitening ad smile. We think maybe he got hip to the look because of another great moustachioed leader and improviser: Duke Ellington.
