Pitcher Rollie Fingers had one of the great position-specific names in any sport. (Who are his rivals? Rich Hand? Usain Bolt?) But Rollie also had one of sport’s greatest moustaches ever. With the classic 70s hair wings and some serious eyebrow action, Rollie looked like a fairground magician who wandered into the ballpark by mistake, or a guest star on Magnum, P.I. – or maybe like a certain Spanish surrealist painter who called his own stache his “antennae.”
