Speaking ahead of his club’s appearance in the FIFA Club World Cup, Santos’ starlet Neymar spoke of his admiration for Barcelona’s Lionel Messi:
“I do believe Messi is the best player at the moment. He’s the one and only, he’s the king of football. To reach his level is something I don’t think I can do.”
No small praise from the next great one who many believe is destined for Barca rivals Real Madrid.
Never say never, Neymar.
Messi is great but you are too and no one knows what the future holds.
