As the 2013 World Track & Field Championships came to a close after the men’s 4x100m relay (remember, pre-Bolt, when meets would traditionally conclude with the 4×400?), Usain Bolt celebrated his third gold medal with his version of the classic Russian dance.
At 6’5″, and maybe a bit tight in the hamstrings after having just smoked Justin Gatlin and six other countries’ anchor runners, Bolt could only hold the pose for a few seconds. Later, he spoke about adding to his legend by defending his sprint dominance in future years.
Will we see more of this in Rio?
