Jonathan Drouin – profile

Jonathan Drouin of the Halifax Mooseheads is one of the best young hockey players not in the NHL – at least not for now. Selected 3rd overall by the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2013’s NHL entry draft, Drouin likely hoped to be playing on a line with Steven Stamkos and Martin St-Louis. Instead, he’ll be back in junior hockey to terrorize goaltenders for another year as the Lightning have opted to allow his strength to develop to match his amazing skating and stick skills. These skills are such that we had to provide a video. Watch below and look forward to the day – soon enough – when Drouin will be racking up 100 points in the NHL.
