It’s amazing how little the list of the world’s top male sprinters has changed since our last Olympic 100m poll in 2012.
Only a handful of younger athletes have a legit chance at a podium finish: Andre de Grasse, Jimmy Vicaut, and Trayvon Bromell lead the new challengers into a field still dominated by familiar names that have dominated the 100m for most of the last decade.
Still, the uncertainty of conditions in Brazil could easily favour those with least to lose – i.e., the young ‘uns. Who will win? Have your say.
