Leafs face Best Player in the World

Rookies on the Toronto Maple Leafs are pumped to play against the Pittsburgh Penguins tonight and especially their captain Sidney Crosby, widely acknowledged as the best hockey player in the world.

The Globe and Mail’s James Mirtle filed a story today outlining how the young Leafs feel about taking on Crosby. Reactions range from “it’s pretty awesome” (Connor Brown) to “I don’t think it’s special” (Nikita Zaitsev).

Regardless, the Leafs’ Nazem Kadri is sure to draw the checking assignment on Crosby and will have his hands full. Since returning from a preseason concussion, Crosby has outscored everyone else in the NHL and is once again dominating games.

BP money is on a Pens win tonight.
