Messi is playable

It turns out that Lionel Messi is playable.

Prior to today’s big Champions League clash between his current Manchester City side and his former Barcelona team, manager Pep Guardiola stated that Lionel Messi was “unplayable”.

Well, so much for that theory.

Messi did score the opening goal to put Barca up one-nil but in the end the Best Player in the World lost to the Best Manager in the World. The final score was Pep 3 Messi 1.

What a game. It’s worth re-watching and keeping in your PVR memory for a long time – especially the second-half when City seemed to be born as a team and Messi seemed to fade into the background as his former manager’s tactics shut down him and his star-studded teammates.
