Sydney McLaughlin, maybe the best high school track and field athlete ever, has picked the University of Kentucky for her upcoming college career.
McLaughlin made the US Olympic team last summer in Rio as a 17-year-old, advancing to the semifinals of the women’s 400m hurdles, where she finished 5th. She is a multiple youth and national record holder in the US, and looks poised to be one of the best ever.
