Will a Maple Leaf win the NHL’s Rookie of the Year Award for 2016-17?

It’s been 50 seasons since a Toronto Maple Leaf was named the NHL’s Rookie of the Year (ROTY). The year was 1966-67 and the player was Brit Selby. It was also the last season that ended with the Leafs winning a Stanley Cup.

The Cup drought in Toronto won’t be ending anytime soon but odds are that the ROTY trophy could be returning to town.

The Leafs have four stud horses in the race – Auston Mathews, Mitch Marner, William Nylander and Nikita Zaitsev – along with a few others.

Who do you think is the Leafs best rookie this 2016-17 season?
