The 2011 Freestyle World Championships were held in Prague, Czech Republic this summer and PalleFreestyler of Freestyle Factory was there to report on it.
So what did he see?
Well, first of all a lot of sweet moves from the best freestylers in the world
And then…well…drinking games?
Check out the video.
These boys know how to have fun with a ball but they also just know how to have fun in general.
If only other World Championships could have such great spirit.
The annual freestyle championship makes the FIFA World Cup look like such a drag.
Maybe these guys should run the next big tournament after FIFA inevitably collapses under the weight of it’s own corruption, self-iimportance and seriousness.
We started following Disha recently with > this post. We really like the stuff he’s doing in Egypt.
Recently he performed at the Peace Soccer School, wowing young players with his classic Disha moves and grooves.
The vid is not as refined or nicely produced as his previous vid but it is well worth watching – especially when you see the looks on the young players faces.
Well done Disha!

This latest Youtube video by the very talented Egyptian freestyler, Disha, has all of the right ingredients: sweet moves, ever-changing and beautiful settings, great film work and a cool soundtrack.
This is how Disha describes his evolution as a freestyler, “I Did My First Atw And Htw In 07 But I Started Freestyle Football In June 08.”
Well, if this video is any indication of just how far this freestyler has come since ’07, we’re going to keep following him for a very long time.
Can’t wait for my next serving.
