NBA superstars Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James, and Chris Paul have decided to withdraw from the six-game World All-Star Classic, according to a report on ESPN.com.
The three NBA All-Stars apparently made their decision in consultation with one another to “use the lockout to spend more time with their families.”
The tour was slated to begin in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and feature stops in London, Macau, and Australia, which is currently slated to continue as planned.
Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, and Amare Stoudemire have not changed their plans to participate, unless this latest departure causes a disruption to the entire tour.
