Kaka has been rewarded for his recent good form with Real Madrid with a recall to the Brazilian National Team.
“I had always said, and he was aware of it, that if [Kaka] returned to form and he started to play regularly again, he would return to the team,” Menezes said. “This is a good opportunity for that to happen.”
This was inevitable really. Kaka is not done yet and we think he will have a big role in 2014.
Is Kaka “back”? Here’s what Youtuber camperkiller272 has to say about that:
“Kàkà’ is back özil and him are the best pair of midfielder they are young and talented and they can become one of real Madrid F.C future legends and now that higuain is in top form real Madrid are undefeatable Hala Madrid.”
Three goals from Ronaldo – including two from the penalty spot – and a strong game from Kaka – have Real Madrid looking good today.
When I first saw Ronaldo’s opening goal I thought it was simply bad goalkeeping that allowed his shot to slip through, but the replay clearly shows how much the ball dipped to find its way between the keeper’s legs.
Real Madrid, however, aren’t the only La Liga team racking up the goals today. Barca have closed out a 5-0 thrashing of Atletico Madrid.
He was just a few years ago known as the best soccer player in the world. In fact, it was in 2007 that Kaka won both the Ballon d’Or and the FIFA World Player of the Year Award.
That’s when he was playing in Italy with AC MIlan.
But Kaka has never reached the same level since his big-money transfer to Real Madrid.
The main reason for that lack of performance has been injuries.
But as Kaka says in the video interview, those injuries are behind him now and his manager Jose Mourinho has faith in him.
Judging by that goal vs Zaragoza last weekend, that faith is deserved. It looks like the great Kaka is back. If that’s true, then life is going to get a little tougher for Real’s rivals in Barcelona.
