Those facing him find his bowling very difficult to hit…or it could be they’re distracted by his characteristic crazy mane of frosted serpentine locks.
Either way, many unlucky batsmen facing Malinga over the years have frozen at his approach, all fierce countenance and hair writhing above… could be they’d have been better served by leaving their cricket bats in the clubhouse and taking their position armed with a mirror, sword, and magic sandals.
