Mario Gomez yesterday scored three goals against Napoli in a span of 25 minutes (17′, 23′, 42′) to put his Bayern Munich side on the brink of the knock-out stages of the Champions League.
Gomez now has a total of 17 Champions League goals and he becomes Germany’s all-time top scorer in it, moving ahead of Michael Ballack, who has 16.
