Not much doubt these days that Toronto FC striker Sebastian Giovinco is the most dangerous, most electrifying – and best – player in Major League Soccer in 2016.
His hat-trick against a badly outclassed New York City FC side led the Reds to a 5-0 rout of NYC and a berth in MLS’s Eastern Conference final. Their opponents, the Montreal Impact, will do well to double up on coverage of Giovinco.
